Nine-X Art Set by Andrew Reach

Nine-X is a geometric experiment using just two shapes: the square and the rhombus. A rhombus, in Euclidean geometry, is a four-sided figure with equal sides, like a diamond. By pairing and rotating these shapes, I created a unique pattern. I then isolated some squares and rhombuses to form X-like shapes, giving an illusion of 3D depth. I enlarged and placed eight of these X's on the pattern, adding color for a striking finish.
